What we do
Our work is built on eight concrete axes — from individual support to international trade missions.
Canada–Mexico trade missions
Fusion Québec acts as an institutional bridge between Mexican regions and Canadian markets. In 2026, we established two concrete axes: connecting the government of Michoacán to the Calgary Stampede 2026 project, and bringing the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial de Campeche closer to the Québec business environment — laying the groundwork for lasting commercial cooperation between the two countries.
Corporate immigration support
We guide Québec businesses through the process of recruiting specialized workers internationally. Concrete example: supporting Azimatronics (robotics, Ottawa) to bring in specialized technicians.
Immigration consultants network
A network of accredited immigration consultants covers Québec and Alberta, providing personalized support at every step of the immigration journey.
Institutional dialogue and advocacy
We carry the voice of migrant communities to decision-makers. In 2024, we met with France-Élaine Duranceau, Québec Minister of Housing, to defend the economic role of the Mexican community.
Support for women and vulnerable groups
Through our partnership with 50+1 International and our French course for migrant women (in collaboration with UVEG), we act for equitable and dignified integration.
Professional preparation workshops
We run Practicing my profession in Québec workshops for professionals abroad. In November 2023, we worked with 17 students from the Universidad de León in Mexico to prepare them for a successful integration.
Participation in international economic forums
Fusion Québec participates in the Conference of Montréal (FEIA) — one of the most important forums in the Americas — to build connections between Québec opportunities and global actors, including UN contacts.
Cybersecurity & Digital Violence Prevention
Our cybersecurity program for migrant women is fully operational in Québec: prevention workshops against online harassment, cyberbullying and identity theft, individual case support, and direct referrals to the appropriate authorities. A concrete policy — led by Fusion Québec — so that digital violence no longer goes unanswered.

Fusion Québec participated in the International Economic Forum of the Americas, strengthening its ties with economic and institutional actors from the Americas and Europe.
Calgary Stampede 2026 — Canada–Mexico Corridor
Fusion Québec served as a bridge between Michoacán and the Calgary Stampede, facilitating Mexican entrepreneurs’ participation in one of Canada’s largest economic and cultural events.
Our story
Foundation
On March 22, 2023, Fusion Québec is officially incorporated in Montréal and adopts its bylaws. Before year-end: a first workshop in Mexico (Universidad de León) and initial immigration support for robotics company Azimatronics.
Expansion
Advocacy on immigration challenges with the Québec government. Participation in the Conference of Montréal (IEFA). Alliance with 50+1 International. Expansion of the consultant network in Alberta. Governance transition. La force d'être ensemble, 1st edition.
Consolidation
Formal French-learning partnership with UVEG. Strategic agreement with 50+1. ICAO collaboration. Paris mission (Francophonie). Second Latin American Heritage Month. Expansion of the Board of Directors. La force d'être ensemble, 2nd edition.

Who we are
Board of Directors
Román Gustavo Méndez Navarrete
Legal scholar, criminologist and governance specialist. As founder of Fusion Québec, he works at the intersection of law, migration and economic development along the Canada–Mexico corridor.
Gloria Rosado López
A board member since August 2024, she coordinates the organization’s strategic projects, including the 50+1 partnership and training initiatives.
Maricarmen Hernández
A member of Fusion Québec’s board of directors, she contributes to the organization’s governance and institutional coordination.
